Although not a tall lamp, the Octagon Mission lamp has a powerful presence. The shade is cone shaped, comprised of 8 pyramid shaped panels. Each panel alternates from flame orange, accented with horizontal lines, to solid iridized honey panels. A tiny green square in the center of thin vertical honey strips adds interest to the pattern.

The base is appropriately plain with a dark brown satin sheen finish. The circular lines around its bottom reflect the linear character of the shade.

This accent lamp with its particular theme of Mission, South West, or Prairie would serve as a source of light and would also nicely decorate a room with its colors.
