Unlike our deeper shades that adapt to being lit upside down or downside up, Ceiling Plate Shades are shallow, usually 5” deep and can only face up, therefore we put them into their own category.

They attach to flush mount hardware making a total light fixture hanging approximately 7” to 9” in length down from the ceiling. They are designed to mount unobtrusively overhead on an 8’ or higher ceiling above foot trafficked areas such as hallways or center of a room. Flush mount fixtures are practical; they are able to illuminate an area that may have limited lighting possibilities. They also add style and beauty to an area .
