Standing like a jeweled tree, our Wisteria table lamp is unique. This labor-intensive pattern is inspired by Tiffany’s iconic Giant Wisteria table lamp designed in 1902 by Tiffany’s head studio artist, Clara Driscol, who imagined a wisteria vine transformed into a leaded glass table lamp.

 

We used hand-rolled, stained glass in various pastel colors to depict intermingling wisteria vines transition from closed buds to open blossoms.

 

The shade is presented on a clean-lined, antiqued buffed, metal table base that vaguely resembles a tree trunk, an appropriate nod to the original Tiffany Wisteria tree lamp.
