Tiffany Style Lamps

Our multi-piece shades feature patterns taken directly from original Tiffany lamps so they can truly be called "replicas". These beautiful shades are created using the classic construction method of copper foil and lead , whereby each piece of handmade glass is cut according to pattern, placed on a form, and soldered together.

Glass Type - The Nature of Art Glass

Unlike the glass used in more readily available Tiffany style lamps, which is smooth and flat in color, art glass seeks visual character through aesthetic "imperfections". Textural waves, striations, mottles, random bubbles, and a variety of other natural peculiarities are characteristics that mimic the handmade sheet glass of centuries past. Art glass colors are rich, deep, vibrant and may even change when lit. No two sheets of art glass are ever identical. Because we prefer to use art glass for our shades, each lamp is unique.
